Turkey Day

This might be one of the best weeks in college. While Thanksgiving is only on Thursday, you can count on having a pretty light schedule for classes the entire week. So what can beat going home for a few days for no other reason than to completely pig out and eat? Well, I'll tell you what tops that: Knowing you only have about 6 or 7 days left of class until you're off for winter break. That means Christmas is just around the corner then too...and I have to get some shopping done, but that's getting a little carried away! So anywho...it actually snowed in the city this morning, which pretty much ended any remaining hope I was holding onto that it would actually stay somewhat warm out. The only good thing that comes with the cold is hockey. The colder it gets outside the better the ice is, which makes for a much better hockey game. So since my last post, the Sox have resigned Lowell, the Pats have remained undefeated, the Bruins are looking strong, and the Celtics look unstoppable. That pretty much sums up the sports scene for now though. This weekend we have our huge Open House here at Suffolk, which is always a blast. We had about 2,000 prospective students come in and check out the school to see if it's where they wanted to spend the next 4 years of their lives. Even though it was about 30 degrees with a 50 mph wind blowing, I think it went pretty good considering the number of people we had. Word on the street is that there is a picture floating around of a 12 foot tall inflatable rat with a few ambassadors. Keep it tuned here for the latest updates.
